Promotion of China Brands in Building Sector Kicks off in Jakarta, Indonesia
In order to further promote the "Trade Power Action Plan" of the Ministry of Commerce and guide more high-quality Chinese enterprises to explore the Indonesian and ASEAN markets, the "Promotion of China Brands in Building Sector" which was hosted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade Development of the Ministry of Commerce kicked off in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 20, 2019. The event coincided with the 2019 INDOBUILDTECH.
Minister-Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia Wang Liping, Deputy Director Jin Hong, Chairman of the Indonesian Exhibition Enterprise Association Effie Siti Abdi, and Executive Director of the Indonesian Importers Association Banbang attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Secretary-General of the Indonesia-China Economic, Social and Cultural Cooperation Association Chen Yongzhi, the representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, and nearly 100 representatives from Chinese and Indonesian companies attended the opening ceremony.
The brand promotion event lasted for four days. The Bureau of Foreign Trade Development held a variety of publicity and matchmaking activities, including product promotion meetings, new product release meetings, and matchmaking meetings. Thirty eight brand enterprises from Guangdong, Shanghai, Fujian, and Jiangsu will participate in special promotion activities, and more than 120 Chinese companies will participate in the matchmaking and negotiation activities.
This brand promotion event attracted many businessmen from Indonesia and ASEAN countries in the neighborhood and played a positive role in expanding the influence of Chinese brands in ASEAN.
