CAITEC and UTS:ACRI Jointly Hold the 1st Australia-China Think Tank Annual Economic Dialogue
Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) at the University of Technology Sydney jointly held the 1st Australia-China Think Tank Annual Economic Dialogue in Beijing on June 18. Attending were about 50 people including the government officials, experts, scholars, enterprises representatives and friends from the media.
The dialogue is focused on three topics “assessing the achievements of China-Australia FTA and discussing the upgrading of bilateral trade system”, “discussing the check of admittance of foreign investments and negative list system, promoting the sustainable growth of China-Australia investment partnership” and “discussing the Belt and Road Initiative and Australian development plan, leading the sustainable development of Asia-Pacific economy”.
Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming attended and addressed the meeting, witnessed the signing of the MOU between CAITEC and UTS:ACRI, and awarded the certificate of special expert to the director of ACRI Bob Carr.
